A TALE OF TWO WORLDS

Genevieve Pierce built her reputation as an art critic on honesty, so when she described renowned sculptor Adam Whitaker's latest masterpiece as "lacking vision," she didn't expect a response.

She certainly didn't expect an invitation.

Now Genevieve finds herself spending a week at Whitaker's secluded estate, observing the creative process of one of the most elusive artists in the country.

But there's one thing Genevieve doesn't know:

      Adam Whitaker is blind.

As Genevieve is drawn deeper into his world of touch, stone, and memory, the line between critic and muse begins to blur. The more time she spends with him, the more she begins to question everything she thought she understood about art... and about herself.

THE AUTHOR

Though writing has become her current creative home, Emmy Perkins believes art rarely belongs to just one medium. She enjoys dipping her toes into as many forms of expression as she can, exploring creativity wherever inspiration appears. Whether through music, words, or the stage, she is drawn to the spaces where vulnerability, passion, and imagination meet.

"This piece is not meant to be kept at a distance. It asks to be felt."
